JOB TITLE: Customer Success Manager

REPORTS TO:  Director, Customer Success

SUMMARY:  Responsible for developing customer relationships that promote customer loyalty. Work closely with customers to ensure they receive exceptional service across our platform and identify areas we can improve on. Responsible for creating policies and procedures that optimize the customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a customer strategy plan to support Aligned customers
  • Retain existing customers and assist with customer expansions. 
  • Oversee and orchestrate all aspects of service delivery on assigned customer base leveraging internal and external partners and resources
  • Establish relationships and build partnerships with internal stakeholders and vendor/carrier partners resulting in best-in-class service delivery to customers
  • Develop business relationship strategies and other projects for customers
  • Develop a cadence for regular business reviews
  • Assist with implementation, on-boarding new customers and managing escalations
  • Understand each customer’s business and build a business strategy to support their needs
  • Act as trusted advisors to both internal and external customers from the beginning through onboarding, project success, and renewals.
  • Through confident communications, present to customers demonstrating expert knowledge of all services and capabilities
  • Establish and maintain trust with customers by consistently providing superior service, meeting all deadlines, and delivering as promised
  • Liaison between accounting, legal, sales and operations
  • ServiceNow Portal SME, customer training and voice of the customer

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent business experience
  • High degree of independent decision-making authority
  • Proficient in the use of technology and software platforms to generate business reviews, conduct audits of customer data, and ensure service tickets are executed upon (strong proficiency using ServiceNow)
  • Able to pick up quickly and communicate Aligned’s unique product offerings and services to support customer needs
  • Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills needed to provide solutions for customer needs and issues
